My son Morgan works for a great little communications company in Toronto called Provident Communications. You can visit their website to learn more, but I wanted to give them a shout out for their informed approach to where and how you work. I knew about it (my son), but read about it today in their newsletter. It’s exactly how we have been working for years and it generates results. Our team all work from home and are spread from Montreal to Miami, Toronto to Timbuktu (well … maybe not Timbuktu yet, but certainly Barrie, Ottawa, Kingston, California and more). Digital connections make it so easy and people like to be trusted to get things done on their terms. Sometimes stopping staring at a screen and taking your four legged friend for a walk is all that’s needed for the big idea breakthrough.
We are hiring now for skilled designers and good camera people.
We have all the equipment from Mac computers and Cloud based software to Canon C300, stabilizers, 3D cameras, drones, etc. If you think you or someone you know might be a good fit with us, send me an email to doug@ltrcorp.ca and tell me why. I promise to write back.
The Post did a story about digital businesses moving to places like Gananoque and why it’s a great way to work from home. Here is the 3-minute National Post video:
